Prestigious activities in the Caribbean: exceptional experiences from your villa

Renting a luxury villa in the Caribbean is much more than just having an exceptional property at your disposal. It gives you access to a world of unique experiences, tailored to your needs and organized from your villa, transforming your luxury vacation into unforgettable memories. Turquoise seas, unspoiled nature, Creole cuisine, vibrant culture: each island offers a range of prestigious activities that far exceed what luxury hotels are able to offer.

Here are the must-see luxury experiences in the Caribbean, organized for you by our IBAÏA concierge team.

On the sea: exclusive nautical escapades

Private catamaran with skipper

The ultimate nautical experience in the Caribbean. Rent a 40- to 60-foot catamaran with a professional skipper and hostess, departing from your nearest marina, for a day or several days.

In Guadeloupe: depart from Saint-François to Les Saintes (an archipelago of absolute beauty), Marie-Galante (an authentic island with exceptional agricultural rums) or La Désirade (a wild and unspoiled island).

In Martinique: sail to the Îlets du François (white sandbanks), tour the Caravelle peninsula, and anchor in Baie des Anges.

In Saint Barth/Saint Martin: inter-island catamaran trips between Saint Barth, Saint Martin, Anguilla, and Saint Kitts—an exceptional Caribbean itinerary.

Approximate prices: €800 to €2,500 per day depending on the size of the sailboat and the destination, catering on board included on request.

Prestigious scuba diving

The French West Indies are among the world's top diving destinations:

  • Cousteau Reserve (Bouillante, Guadeloupe): ranked among the 10 best diving sites in the world, with spectacular marine biodiversity. Private rates with guide: €150 to €300 per diver

  • Rocher du Diamant (Martinique): an exceptional site with colonies of barracudas, sea turtles, and colorful corals

  • Anse Dufour and Anse Noire (Martinique): crystal clear waters, turtles present on every dive

  • Saint Barth — Pain de Sucre: walls covered with gorgonians and black corals

Our concierge service can book private sessions for you with the best diving clubs on each island.

Deep-sea sport fishing

Big game fishing is one of the most popular luxury activities in the Caribbean. Wahoo, kingfish, marlin, dolphinfish: the Caribbean waters are teeming with deep-sea fish. Depart at dawn from the marina and return in the early afternoon with your catch — which your private chef can cook that same evening in your villa.

Approximate price: €600 to €1,200 per half-day for a private sport fishing boat.

In the air: exceptional aerial experiences

Helicopter or microlight flight

Seeing the Caribbean from the sky is an absolutely breathtaking experience. The diversity of the landscapes—volcanoes, lagoons, mangroves, beaches—takes on a whole new dimension when viewed from above.

  • Guadeloupe: fly over La Soufrière, Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, Marie-Galante, and Les Saintes by helicopter or microlight—flights last from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours.

  • Martinique: fly over Mount Pelée, the Caravelle Peninsula, and Fort-de-France Bay

  • Saint Barth: aerial photo of the entire island, landing at the legendary Grand Case airport

Approximate prices: €200 to €600 per person depending on duration and island.

Dining: Creole cuisine as a prestigious experience

Private chef at home in your villa

One of the experiences most appreciated by our prestige clients: hiring a professional Creole chef to cook in your villa. In the morning, they visit the local market to select fresh produce. At lunchtime or in the evening, they prepare an exceptional meal in your professional kitchen: grilled lobster with lime butter, royal shrimp colombo, soufflé accras, refined Creole desserts.

This service can be provided on a one-off basis (for a romantic dinner or a group meal) or daily throughout your stay. Prices: €150 to €400 per service, depending on the number of guests and the menu.

Private distillery tour with tasting

Agricultural rum from the French West Indies is a living heritage of exceptional richness. Martinique is the only island in the world with an AOC for its agricultural rum. We organize private tours outside opening hours, with the production manager, in the best distilleries:

  • Martinique: Habitation Clément, Saint-James, La Mauny, J.M., Depaz at the foot of Mount Pelée

  • Guadeloupe: Père Labat, Montebello, Bologne

Tasting of rare vintages, followed by a gourmet Creole meal. A memorable experience for enthusiasts.

Immersion: discover Creole culture in a different way

Private market tour with a local guide

Forget the usual tourist market. IBAÏA organizes private tours of the covered market in Fort-de-France (Martinique) or the market in Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) with a passionate local guide. They will introduce you to the vendors, explain the spices, let you taste the products—and guide you to the best places that tourists don't know about.

Private hike in the rainforest

Guadeloupe has a 300 km² National Park in the heart of Basse-Terre. Martinique has the Montagne Pelée forest, La Caravelle, and the Gorges de la Falaise. A private naturalist guide will accompany you on a tailor-made hike: difficulty adapted to your level, observation of endemic flora and fauna, swimming in rivers and under waterfalls.

Prices: €200 to €500 per half-day for a private guide for 2 to 6 people.
